🧮 Understanding Probability

Theoretical Probability is what we expect to happen based on math:

P(event) = Number of favorable outcomes / Total number of possible outcomes

Experimental Probability is what actually happens when we conduct experiments:

P(event) = Number of times event occurred / Total number of trials

As you spin more times, your experimental probability should get closer to the theoretical probability. This is called the Law of Large Numbers!

💡 Learning Tips:

  • Probability is always between 0 and 1 (or 0% and 100%)
  • If something is impossible, its probability is 0
  • If something is certain, its probability is 1
  • All probabilities in an experiment must add up to 1
