For example, if you are adding 786 and 495, the answer is 1281.
Here is how you get the answer:
- Add 6 and 5 to get 11. Put 1 in the ones place and carry 1 (shown in red in the calculator).
- Add 1, 8, and 9 to get 18. Put 8 in the tens place and carry 1 (shown in red in the calculator).
- Add 1, 7, and 4 to get 12. Write 2 in the hundreds place and 1 in the thousands place.
