Equivalent resistance calculator

This equivalent resistance calculator will find the equivalent resistance for resistors in series and resistors in parallel.

Use the calculator only to check your answer. However, in some cases a circuit may have  5, 10, or 20 resistors in parallel.

This is when this calculator will come in handy  because it takes lots of time to do it for so many resistors with paper and pencils especially if it is a parallel circuit.

You can enter an unlimited number of values for the resistors.

Tips on how to enter the values of the resistors.

Enter the value of each resistor separated by a comma or a space.

Do not enter the symbol for Ohm (Ω)

The calculator will display the symbol at the end of the answer.
